The monastery's Dhamma school Siwmaga, delivers our unique “Life Education” programme to a growing population of over 650 local and international male and female students in English and Sinhala mediums. Weekly lessons, carefully designed to both nourish the mind and pique the intellect are delivered by our monks and Anagarikas, and reach students in over 10 countries worldwide. 

The hallmark of Siwmaga’s revolutionary approach is that we step beyond the boundaries of a conventional Dhamma school curriculum to educate our students in the practical application of Buddhist philosophy to solve the modern-day challenges they face and, equally importantly, inculcate noble values, virtues and morals; essential ingredients for a wholesome upbringing
