The establishment of the 'Noble Friends Rehabilitation Center'

Amidst the diverse multitude seeking the heritage of the Buddha, including Noble disciples like Ananda, Nanda, Rahula, and the Bhaddevaggiya princes, as well as individuals from all walks of life, there have always been those seeking liberation. This noble tradition, characterised by compassion for all beings, has provided a sanctuary for those seeking solace and healing.

The establishment of the 'Noble Friends Rehabilitation Center' at Jetavanarama Buddhist Monastery is a testament to this compassionate tradition. By dedicating this centre to the Maha Sangha, we aim to guide lost youth, who have strayed due to ignorance, towards the path of liberation and peace.

The Buddha statue and the Bodhi sapling planted here will inspire and uplift the young minds seeking refuge in the teachings of the Buddha. May all those who come to this place find peace and solace!

We offer our blessings to all who have contributed to the establishment of this centre, and may the immeasurable merit generated through this noble endeavour benefit all beings!
