Gratitude is a noble virtue, and we believe that it is our solemn obligation to honour and pay gratitude to our ancestors and loved ones who have passed on. Their hard work, dedication, and sacrifices have afforded us the conveniences and comforts we enjoy today.
This is a very special puja service offered upon the request of a devotee, to invoke blessings and transfer merits to their deceased family members, bestowing them comfort and easing their journey towards enlightenment. The service involves a special offering of food items in the name of the departed, followed by an alms-giving and an offering of a selection of 12 requisites at the monastery, which includes a few simple items a monk may use such as robes, an alms bowl, needle & thread, a razor, an umbrella, slippers and a walking stick
